No cables. All of OrCam's capabilities are now packed into a sleek discrete, finger sized, device that attaches and detaches easily to your glasses with a magnet. Remember to attach the lanyard to the hook at the end of the unit (next to the mini USB charging port) in order to keep it safe and within reach for whenever you need it.
Quick and easy charging. Your OrCam MyEye 2.0 is equipped with a powerful miniature battery that can be charged with any power pack, computer or USB charger connected to a power source. Locate the micro USB port at the end of your device to attach the charger, please make sure to insert the charger the right way around to avoid damage to the connecting pins.
LED illumination. When there is insufficient light for OrCam MyEye 2.0 to read a piece of text it will automatically illuminate with powerful LED lights that are situated on the front panel of the unit next to the camera.
Touch pad controls. Along the length of the outer side of OrCam MyEye 2.0 runs a touch sensitive pad with a raised line down its center for guidance. Simply touch the pad to activate the device, swipe forward or back to change the volume or to navigate text while reading.
Processing indications. You will hear the device emit clicks and beeps when you activate it. The clicks tell you that your touch has been recognized and the beeps tell you that OrCam MyEye 2.0 is processing an image. If you prefer you can turn this feature off in the settings menu.
Wireless and automatic software updates. From time to time OrCam updates its software to include improvements and enhancements in performance. In order to update your software, go to www.orcam.com/wifiset and follow the instructions on screen and in your user manual. Please note that to connect to WiFi your OrCam MyEye 2.0 needs to be connected to a power source and located within proximity to the WIFI router.
