Commitment to achieving Net Zero
Sight and Sound Technology Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050.
Baseline Emissions Footprint
Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.

Additional Details relating to the Baseline Emissions calculations. |
Scope 1 and Scope 2 calculated from data collected for our financial year ending 31st October 2021 and covers our site in Northampton.
Scope 3 calculated based on estimated data regarding employee commuting and using personal vehicles for business use. For other emissions, such as upstream and downstream transportation, we currently have no reliable way of collecting the data and have therefore omitted it from our Baseline reporting. We are in the process of producing methodologies for gathering all categories of Scope 3 emissions data to establish a clear baseline for following years. |

We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to 30.95 tCO2e by 2027. This is a reduction of 10.5%.
Progress against these targets can be seen in the graph below:
