We are delighted to bring our Assistive Technology Exhibition back to TU Dublin this October!
What to expect
Our expert staff will be on hand to demonstrate products, talk through options and help you find the right solution for you.
Join us to learn about and try out our technology solutions for people who are blind or have low vision, and people with learning, reading, and writing difficulties.
Come and see a range of hardware and software that will help people with low or no vision, including new multi-line Braille displays, the Paige Connect, which turns your Perkins Brailler into a smart device and the highly anticipated WeWalk 2 smart cane, which is due for release in early November.
You can also try mobile phones, digital electronic magnifiers, Braille solutions, including multi-line Braille and software – options for work, study and at home.
Learn about living with sight loss
If you’re coming along with someone who has a vision impairment or is blind, learn more about what it’s like to live with sight loss with Eyes Reality, an AR (augmented reality) experience which simulates various eye conditions and helps you to understand some of the daily challenges.
We’ll be joined by some great charities, ensuring that you have access to information on all of the supports and services available in your area, as well as trying out some fantastic new technology.
