We are delighted to be headline sponsors for Sight Village South East, which takes place in Kensington Town Hall for a one-day event this Tuesday 8th November 2022.

The Roadshow allows visitors to come and find out more about the latest technology, equipment and support services available to people who are blind or partially-sighted. If you or a family member have a visual impairment it could be of great help to visit the show.  Professionals that support people with visual impairments and businesses looking to better meet the needs of their employees and customers are also welcome, with lots of information and networking opportunities.

Entry is free to Sight Village, Pre-registration is recommended.
Refreshments will be available for purchase throughout the event.

Meet our AT Specialists

Our Assistive Technology Specialists will be on hand to demonstrate a vast range of assistive technology including electronic video magnifiers, PC software for magnification and speech, Braille devices and popular wearables, including smart glasses and a navigation wristband.

We have some special guests joining us on our stand, who will also be on hand to introduce you to some fantastic solutions.

  • Vanessa Vigar with Envision, AI-powered lightweight smartglasses
  • Freek van Welsenis with Hable One, the easiest Braille keyboard for your smartphone and tablet.

We’ll also be joined by vision scientists from the University of Essex Dr Jordi M Asher, and Professor Paul B Hibbard, with their latest invention, AReye. The team is developing assistive technology software for people with visual field loss, using Augmented Reality headsets that will provide the user with a live stream from their blind field.
